Yvette Manessis Corporon grew up listening to her grandmother’s stories about how the people of her native Greek island hid a Jewish family from the Nazis. Years later, Yvette couldn’t get the story out of her head. Eventually finding the survivor’s descendants in Israel, their tearful reunion was cut short by the news of her cousin’s child gunned down by a Neo-Nazi in the parking lot of the JCC of Kansas.
